Q: Please briefly introduce yourself and your company.

A: My name is Chad Brown. I am the founder of Dominion USA, Inc. based out of New Orleans, Louisiana in the United States. We also have a second facility in Austin Texas here in the United States and we currently service most of the states here in the continental US.

Q: What’s your experience working with Scottsdale Steel?

A: We are currently operating eight machines and we decided to go with Scottsdale because of the dependability of the rollformers, but more importantly, the way that the software integrated with those rollformers. It is unique to the industry and no other technology can do it the way Scottsdale does.

Q: What are the advantages of using steel?

A: The main advantages for using steel frame are obvious. They’re better with fire, they’re termite proof, no wood rot, straighter, quality to the end user, all of that’s there and that’s what kept us going in this direction as far as the roll forming technology.

Q: How has Scottsdale made a difference for Dominion?

A: The biggest contribution Scottsdale has made to my business has been in being there when we needed them in times of need, meaning I live in New Orleans, we operate out of New Orleans, we have hurricanes here, we have frequent power outages, and every time we’ve needed Scottsdale to come sign back onto our system remotely from New Zealand or Australia, they are there to do it, and that has been a lifesaver. On projects specifically, we’ve had times where we’ve needed help in design to get the engineering to work the way that it has to here in the US, and Scottsdale has always been willing to jump in that way.

Q: What is your recommendation of Scottsdale?

A: I’d just like to share that Scottsdale has been a partner in our growth as we’ve grown into two facilities and we’re going into two more in the coming days. Thank you and I would suggest Scottsdale to anyone in the market looking for roll forming.
